RCT Certificate Tools

Download the Android app for scanning names lists and the desktop program for printing certificates. This page is intended for RCT internal use only.

Before installing These tools are provided directly by WebMagick for RCT. If Android or Windows shows a security warning, confirm that you downloaded the file from rct.webmagick.eu before continuing.

Android App

Use the Android app to scan waiver/name lists, review recognized names, and send the generated PDF by email.

Install instructions

  1. Download the APK on the Android phone.
  2. Open the downloaded file.
  3. If Android blocks the installation, allow installation from this browser or file manager.
  4. Tap Install.
  5. Open the app after installation.

First use

  1. The App settings opens.
  2. Enter the Gemini API key provided during setup.
  3. Save the key.
  4. Start a tour and scan the name list pages.
  5. Review the names before sending or exporting.

Desktop Printing Program

Use the Windows desktop program to print prepared certificate PDFs on the connected certificate printer.

Install instructions

  1. Download the ZIP file on the Windows computer used for printing.
  2. Right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract All.
  3. Open the extracted folder.
  4. Run the certificate printing program: "Install Certificate Print Program.bat".
  5. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info and then Run anyway, but only if the file was downloaded from this page.

Printing instructions

  1. Make sure the printer is connected and turned on.
  2. Open the desktop printing program. On Desktop double-click on "Certificate Print Program"
  3. Write names separated by Enter (new line). When done click Print.
  4. Check that the correct printer is selected.
  5. Print the certificates.

Recommended workflow

  1. Use the Android app at the rafting base to scan the signed name lists.
  2. Review and correct names inside the app.
  3. Send names list in email, PDF and manes list in email or print directly if printer is on same network as the phone.
  4. If names list was sent by email: Open the email, copy names list to the "Certificate Print Program" on the Windows computer and print.
  5. If PDF was sent by email: Open the PDF on the Windows computer.
  6. If certificates were printed directly from phone: Check printer if the certificates were printed.
  7. Print certificates using the desktop printing program.

Troubleshooting

Android says installation is blocked

Android may block APK files that are installed outside the Play Store. Open Android settings when prompted and allow installation from the browser or file manager used to download the APK.

Android asks for permissions

Allow camera access so the app can scan name lists. Allow file or sharing permissions when needed to create and send the PDF.

Windows shows a security warning

Windows may show a warning for new or unsigned programs. Continue only if the program was downloaded from rct.webmagick.eu.

The printer does not appear

Check that the printer is connected, powered on, installed in Windows, and visible under Windows printer settings.
